The OPS Research Assistant will join the laboratory of Dr. Yanjun Li in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, focusing on AI-driven drug discovery.
The role centers on developing novel AI algorithms for protein, RNA, and small molecule modeling, training deep learning systems at scale, and contributing to translational computational drug discovery research.
This is an in-person position and not eligible for remote work.
Develop and prototype novel AI algorithms for drug discovery
Model biological sequences and structures (protein, RNA, small molecules)
Contribute to high-impact computational research initiatives
Train and validate large-scale deep learning models
Work with PyTorch and TensorFlow frameworks
Optimize model performance for scientific applications
Develop optimized data pipelines
Integrate public and proprietary datasets
Support scalable model training workflows
Collaborate with:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
